Boca Surprise House Party

I was lucky enough to be chosen to have a House Party featuring Boca Meatless Products. I have been a vegetarian for many years and I love preparing healthy family friendly food. The folks at House Party certainly set us up for a great party. House Party includes entire party kits to get your party started.

My Boca House Party package included recipe cards featuring different Boca products. We served Boca Burgers and also made Terrific Taco Salad. I have listed the recipe below. I must admit my Taco Salad did not look as fancy as the picture but it definitely tasted as good as it looks.

Random Tuesday Thoughts

Yay! This is my first weekly post....Random Tuesday Thoughts. Random Tuesday is hosted by The UnMom at http://www.theunmom.com/ Thanks!!! So with that out of the way how is this for random...?

• My favorite music CD is music the Broadway Musical "Wicked". I listen to it everyday. I am listening to it right now.
• I bought my son "footie" pajamas from Target and the zipper broke the second time he wore them. This annoys me a great deal.
• I like to drink out of plastic instead of glass because I always think I am going to drop glass ones and break them.
• I honestly cannot remember the last day I did not have a headache at some point of the day.
• I am sure I will lay in bed tonight thinking of other clever random things I could have said in this post.

DisneyWorld 2009

We were lucky enough to go to DisneyWorld in December of 2009. This was actually our second family trip there. They have tons of cute stuff to see and do there...I won't rehash it all here because there are plenty of sites dedicated to all things Disney. I just wanted to share that if you plan things out in advance a trip to Disney does not have to break the bank. My advice is PLAN things out in advance. It will help you save time and money which are both precious things in DisneyWorld!!!

Pepper Profit Nights

For all of you in S.E. Wisconsin we'll be having some Pepper Profit nights at Chili's in Brookfield on 02/22, 02/23, 02/24, 03/01, 03,02 & 03,03!! 10% of the profits will go to Nicki's Transplant Fund. Nicki is a friend of mine who had a double lung transplant and is thankfully doing well. A voucher is needed in order for the money to go towards her.
